A Four Part Webinar Series with Kirsten Lewis

Learn deep inside secrets and strategies on developing your unique photography style from one of the industries top portrait and editorial photographers. Kirsten Lewis has created ripples with her high impact and powerful imagery. And she’s willing to show you how you can also create a dynamic style in your photography.

This is not for everyone or the faint of heart. Kirsten feels very strong about the individuality in work and every photographer who is serious should consider attending this series.

Her strength and power comes from focusing on the idea of individuality in work. You will discover how photographers can really hone in on, and make leaps both artistically and professionally.

Finding and Developing Your Photographic Voice

Part one
WHO AM I AS A PHOTOGRAPHER? Taking the time to figure out what you like to photograph, who you want to photograph and what kind of work you want to be making. Get rid of the stress of finding a “style” box to squeeze into. How to set your work apart from all of the other photographers around you.

Part two
WHY DO MY PICTURES SUCK? An overview of how to make great pictures that mean something. This part will be pretty technical. I’ll go through the whole process of one of my shoots, from the editing process to the processing and delivery. We’ll touch upon composition and lighting, how to find good light in any environment and the importance of patience and persistence in making a great picture.

Part three
SOMEONE NOTICE ME!!! I’ll talk about the business of the business and how I was able to be noticed in my market by being different. I think this portion could also be the q&a portion where I encourage other photographers to send in questions and I can address 10-20 of them during this segment.

Part four
THE POWER OF A PICTURE. Part four will be all about the importance of a photograph to your clients. I will also talk about keeping yourself motivated and challenged, talk about personal projects and finally how to connect with NGOs to use your talents to help others.
