Diversity…a buzzword you hear all the time. It plays into my business considering the variety of photography sessions that flow into my life.
For me it’s not a buzzword or an ideology, but a reality.
You may have heard me say my photography business is like a Swiss Army knife. This business model is a reality because I need to, well, make money.
This is not a hobby. It’s a business.
Others may use different business models. In bigger, affluent markets one can pursue a more niched “high end” product. This all fine and good. But you need the demographics in order to pursue it.
Others pursue, and very successfully so, more high volume markets…like high school seniors, sports and similar events where people get together is mass quantity.
And buy.
Whatever business model you pursue, being smart about marketing is and was and continues to be the fundamental underlying principle.
It’s why I keep harping on it. Nothing, besides dumb luck, will push your business forward in today’s changing photographic industry.
And I ain’t relying on luck, that’s for sure.
Anywho, on that note, GO HERE to watch the replay from the August Lighting Mastermind.
