It’s likely the number one most sought after feeling.
We want it from our clients. We want it from our peers.
Don’t you hate it when a client walks all over you. Or tries to.
They do their best, because they have little or no respect for you, your craft, and you know they can afford it. After all, they drove to your studio in a $50,000.00 SUV.
And still. They ask stupid questions like:
“Can I just buy the files for $200.00? We’re on a budget.”
Aarrgghhh! Smack down! Dang that hurts….you had your hopes so high.
Here’s the truth. You need to EARN respect. It’s part of your brand. Your aura.
Who you are, what your business says and how others see you, is not something you can ever take for granted.
It’s a struggle and part of the battle.
It’s an ugly cold truth. Ya just gotta accept it, roll with it and keep your chin up as you walk though the occasional shitstorm.
As Dan Kennedy would say….“Your ability to be immune to criticism is key to your success.”
In others words, don’t let it get you down. And keep working on your game. It never stops, and the daily grind for respect is a continuous well fought battle.
Worth every penny.
