What she’s saying.“Ask me if I care. Show me the money.”
I stay away from this discussion nowadays. Have avoided it for a long time now. I don’t know of a more heated, politically charged topic.
Way, way back in the early 2000’s when I first started in digital photography, I ran all the tests, and compared, searched for and tried my best to create the best digital solutions.
I had to. My studio was running on all cylinders and one major misfire could derail the whole show.
We were, at the time, pushing around 700+ sessions a year. Including many weddings.
Our Babies First Year program, our family portrait marketing, studio newsletters, multiple displays, our Kreative Kids Klub to name a few of the marketing strategies used made us the go to studio in our city.
This Thursday, James Hodgins and I will be discussing this age old heated topic, among various other relevant topics. We’re going to have a calm, civil talk. And James will reveal why he shoots RAW nowadays. His reasoning is valid. As is mine, when I explain why I don’t.
Join us. Some points of discussion also include:
⦁ James in Mexico and Brazil on mining photography adventures….
⦁ Rob in Costa Rica..shooting, marketing and other challenges, successes.
⦁ Lighting talk and from the trenches shooting strategies
⦁ Raw VS JPEG… A very civil discussion on one of the most hotly debated topics in photography since the wave of digital photography took over our lives in 2000. CLUE: No one is right. What works is what works and why will be discussed.
And more…
As usual, the replay and download replay will be accessible for al members.
