Ok, a day late…yesterday was a full travel day. Up at 5:00AM to greet the rising Costa Rica sun, with coffee, birds and monkeys.
Home, in bed, by midnight. Modern travel amazes me.

When I was in my early twenties, working in a high end industrial/mining photography studio as their main printer and lab tech, I would pursue deeper understanding of all things photography.
I even had, read, and tried to understand the books my Ansel Adams…by far, in my oh so humble and accurate opinion, the most technically and artistically savvy photographer.
I always want to understand at a deeper level all things technical. This video really helps shed light on the finer workings of capturing the ideal, or perfect white balance. Good stuff.
(although I am not, still, convinced shooting RAW is the only and ultimate process. More on that later…I can feel the arrows already)

Goes to Maggie Habieda. She talked about this in the last presentation we had with her, last week. REPLAY Maggie took the simple idea of a make-over glamor shoot and totally ramped it up into a high end, highly perceived package. She managed to bundle all sorts of extras like a chauffeured ride to the session by the local BMW dealer, on their dime. To name one ballsy move. Not to mention the make up artist and the actual session itself. And more. She’s got it!
