Clam Shell Lighting
“2 weeks ago, I was asked to photograph a surprise 50th
birthday party for a woman at a local club.
As with any of us working a job, I asked about the event and
what was needed. They wanted just basic coverage of the night.
(They hired a DJ, a caterer brought in food, etc.) It was very casual,
so lots of people were wearing jeans.
I decided to try something to see how it would come out. I went a
“little overboard” and brought in a white background and setup
my lights in a “clam shell” formation.”

Michael said, “I was looking for some inspiration for some
dance images coming up and I remembered that Warne did
an amazing setup for a dance studio shot a few years back.
It is so simple and awesome I just had to share again.”

Part one with Fuzzy…a summary. I’ve attended many, many

I found myself reaching over, grabbing my pen, and taking notes.
This happens when the speaker and the info they’re sharing is
captivating, useful and practical. Fuzzy’s first presentation was
all that and more. Click here.
