As I mentioned last fall in the Part One “Throwing a grenade in the tools shed”:
“Throwing a grenade in the tool shed means doing something in your life that is drastic, seemingly extreme, bold and very disruptive.”
Five years ago we sold our house/studio at a profit. Why does this matter?
Simple…..
*never make big life decisions when desperate. Make sure you hold the best cards. We made this decision from a strong position.
Some other bold life tips when changing things up:
*Never make big life decisions (grenade in the shed) if your messes (debt, options, promises and commitments etc etc ) are bigger than what your circumstances can handle.
*Never act in anger or revenge… in essence you’re giving away your power.
*Never blame, complain or play victim. Nothing darkens the soul and kills motivation quite like victimization.
My first really, really big grenade in the tools shed event was Jan 6, 1991. It was so life changing and grand I had a new everything.
And it was amazing. You can read more about it here on my bio page where I bare my soul.
The way I see it, we’re on an adventure. Maybe it’ll work out. Maybe it won’t. We’ll never know unless we unhook and start the drop.
There’s more to it, and tonight I will be discussing some of the marketing strategies we’re up to while down here in Costa Rica for at least three months. What’s working, why, what strategies we’re implementing and one of the most common afflictions: Head Trash.
The struggle is real, it ain’t all roses and sunshine.
By the way, we’re still running our studio back home. Even though it’s in hibernation of sorts. The key to making this work is building a strong brand through “Authority Marketing” strategies. I’ll be talk on this too tonight.
I’ll talk it all. Join me tonight 9:00PM EST for a live Mastermind. Recorded for members who can’t attend or who’d rather watch the replay in the forum.
I have a ton of stuff to talk about, and as usual, your questions are welcomed.
