Some like to hang onto excuses. The biggest one of the last 15 years (to explain lack of sales and profits) is the whole shoot-and-burn phenom.
A photographer friend I know leaned on this excuse lately. I told him he was being whiney and imagining things.
And to be fair, we do deal with this on occasion We simply don’t get flustered.
Case in point (TRUE STORY)… last weekend we had 34 fairy sessions booked. (that’s me and Tina above, shot by a mom, during this event….)
One of our clients, during the selling portion, tells my wife, the studio boss, that she expected to get a digital file of ALL the images.
She twisted our offer around and tried to convince us that this was what we were offering.
Yea, right. Nice try.
Yes, we do deal with this mindset once in while. BUT, it’s mainly the exception.
The vast majority of our clients are legit, value us and our service and want, yes, WANT to pay us.
This doesn’t just happen.
We:
*show up looking and acting professional…
*treat our clients with total respect
*never come across desperate and eager to sell/market on price
We value our service. We don’t blink, sweat or shudder in fear when we quote our price.
Everything we are, believe in and offer, we radiate.
And clients (most) get it.
YOU NEED to believe in yourself and your product.
I talked about our fairy day success in last weeks Master mind presentations.

I also presented a 1.5 hour lighting mastermind where I dig deep into many real sessions.
