Friend in photography and members of noBs photosuccess,
Whenever I am challenged and find myself starting to complain, I stop.
And I tell myself: Grow a pair.
That is the core basic truth behind any, and all success.
It means, for those who don’t get it or who need a gentle reminder (like I do every once in a while):
- take responsibility…for everything. NO MATTER who’s to blame. Own it.
- my attitude is the ONE thing no one else or no other force has any affect on
- act…..move….anything. Any and all movement will beat out sitting and thinking, analyzing, whining about it. Get up, get moving…now.
- have courage. Not to be confused with being fearless (which is dumb)… taking action in spite of being scared. That’s called courage. Rare, and so potent.
There’s more, but I think you get it.
Final thoughts….Imagine you’re trying to build a house. And you have a saw, hammer, an axe.
Someone hands you a power saw, a drill, a whole set if power tools.
Like trying to pound nails with a rock. The new format has many, many cool tools, options and components that we haven’t even started implementing yet.
But it doesn’t come without some growing pains and glitches. We’re smoothing them out. And thank you for your ideas, feedback and above all, patience.
It will be worth it.
Yours in success and in photography,
Rob
