I was chatting with Robert Bray yesterday while running a tech test for tonight’s webinar. He, like many of my guests, is a webinar newb.
We set it up and made sure all systems are go vs trying to solve any tech troubles at the last minute.
I also thanked him for offering to join us and talk about his success and struggles as a photographer.
He, like me, has been in the game for 40 years. Ouch. That’s a big number.
But numbers don’t lie. When you been in the game this long you have to wonder: “Something is working…what could it be.”
That’s why I like having guys like Mr Bray in on these presentations.
If you think his success, strategies and principles are old and outdated, you’d be making a big mistake.
One thing he did mention is that he caters to a ‘niche’ market. I have a sneaking suspicion what he means is there’s a segment of the population who is loyal to his studio.
And they pay. Likely a premium. I’m guessing they complain a lot less. Way less. I’ve always said that clients who pay the most complain the least.
This idea if often lost on many newcomers in the field. Some are so naive this idea is way above their heads. Way, way above…like an airplane at 35,000 ft above their heads above.
Operating in a ‘niche’ market of dedicated, loyal and paying clients is not something that is created overnight. It’s a lifetime of work and struggle.
But worth every effort. And everything changes and works in your favor when it happens. Including compliance, commitment and accountability.
Join Us tonight. 8:00PM EST or 7:00PM CST…. REPLAY HERE
