Why? I am not a huge fan of facebook. If not such a valuable tool for advertising, I’d just as well not have an account.
But….many people use their cell phones to access social media posts etc and some don’t like trying to access forum based threads.
Fair enough.
So, my strategy is simple. bring all conversations over to the FB group and keep all the content in the forum for members, as a library of sorts.
Go here and sign up if you haven’t already.
P.S. I will in time reduce or remove the “General Discussion” section over time, leaving only the content.

You’re a nice guy Rob. Sharing everything, all your secrets and ideas with anyone and everyone.
I on the other hand am not.
Like you I study and read and take courses on how to market my studio. I come up with a new idea, tag line or package idea only to see it copied word for word on a couple of my competitor’s websites within 24 hours.
These lazy unimaginative “photographers” that can’t be bothered to do the work. I am at he point were I am considering legal action.
Years ago I had some A-Hole “Professional Photographer” from Florida phone me saying he loved my portrait price list, it was perfect. So would I please give him the PDF unlock code so he could just open the PDF and change the logo and contact info to his. Lazy A-hole.
So in short I appreciate the invite to the FB group but I won’t be sharing any marketing ideas to the world.
BUT I’m always happy to share ideas to people I know and trust. Especially people outside my market area. Just not to random people on Facebook.

Here’s something I will share to the NoBS Forum. On the recommendation of Bruce Hudson I started reading (OK Audio) this amazing book on marketing (and I have read hundreds) I leaned to simplify my marketing message.
