I’ve heard it said that you don’t really grow up until you lose both parents.
I don’t know if I agree with that wholesale,
but on some level there is a grain of truth. Maybe more…
Turning 62 last summer I realized some things never change.
At least not for me. How about you?
Namely:
- I’m still trying to grow up. It baffles me, since for me anywho, I have been on an endless marathon of self-help.
- It’s a disease, an affliction, an obsession. It’s bigger than me.
- I’ve had over my years on this spinning planet, critics and nay-sayers. I’ve managed to create a moat around my castle and most of these attacks don’t get in.
- Not sure why anyone would diss the idea behind non-stop attempts at self-help.
But, there they are…..there.
I learn from them, mostly how to ignore them, grow a pair and become immune to the critics.
Truth is, life is hard. It’s mostly one shit-show after another. And trying our best to
prepare and plan and survive.
Keep on running the race. This one. Message: Life goes on. Business goes on.
And I keep learning. And sharing. And profiting.
