Two years ago my wife Tina convinced me to look into a new cultural event in the wedding industry. This was our first exposure to the whole idea behind the Pop Up Wedding phenon.

You might be asking “what’s a pop up wedding?” That’s the first question we get about 99% of the time.

I was young. I had four sisters younger than I.

I still have four sisters, and they’re still younger. But we’re all older.
I am the only boy. Being surrounded by girls all my life had it’s perks.
And yes, there was a time I did play with dolls, but not in the way you think….more on that in a sec.

We had some interesting discussions last night during the Lighting Mastermind with Hark.

I made some revealing confessions which made him feel good. And talked about my flaws and short comings. But how, in the end, the only metric that really matters and should matter is how happy mny clients are and if I am making money.

Hark also commented:

I didn’t start “living” until I quit drinking, faced my demons and sobered up. That was almost 30 years ago.

All my demons and neurosis made me who I am. It’s a long list. But one I was willing to tackle and in short order change things around.

When I stew in self-doubt and shame, I quickly realize I wouldn’t have had it any other way. My experiences were one of a kind and all mine. What’s important is my attitude TODAY and my actions TODAY.

Of all the strategies I used in the growth and marketing of my photography business this one strategy created more sessions, calls and long term clients than any other.
